Mathews Station 1<\/h3>\n

117 Brickbat Road<\/p>\n

The first fire station was built in 1937 at the same location as the current station. The station was added onto in 1949 and in 1957. The current station was built in 1975. The \u201ccourthouse station\u201d is staffed with 30 firefighters, 2-engines, 1\u2013mini pumper, 1\u2013 rescue\/utility truck, and 1-brush Jeep.<\/td>\n

Bohannon Station 2<\/h3>\n

4396 East River Road<\/p>\n

Station 2 is located in the Bohannon area of the county. The first Bohannon station was built in 1949. The current station was dedicated in 2020. The Bohannon station is staffed with 15 firefighters and 1-engine.<\/td>\n

Gwynn\u2019s Island Station 3<\/h3>\n

2137 Old Ferry Road<\/p>\n

Station 3 is located on Gwynn\u2019s Island and the first station was open in 1956. The current Gwynn\u2019s Island station was built in 2002. The Gwynn\u2019s island station is staffed with 15 firefighters and 1-engine.<\/td>\n

Cobbs Creek Station 4<\/h3>\n

2852 Buckley Hall Road<\/p>\n

Station 4 is located in the Cobbs Creek area of the county. The fire station was built in 2014. The Cobbs Creek station is staffed with 20 firefighters and 1-engine. The department\u2019s reserve engine is assigned to station 4.<\/td>\n

Station 5 is located in the New Point area of the county. The station was built in 1986 on the old New Point school site. The New Point station is staffed with 15 firefighters and 1-engine<\/td>\n
